![]() ![]() Shadow of Mordor could have used an offline Nemesis mode and Shadow of War would be made to only read a save file from Shadow of Mordor to transfer over the nemesis content that way, or rat least allow the player to use their warchiefs from Shadow of Mordor in their Shadow of War campaign. Yes, and just like the issue caused here, I couldn't get my nemesis into Shadow of War from Shadow of Mordor (also WB published games) before they shutdown the servers. It also defeats the purpose of doing everything else because you will be screwed at the end either way. You just destroy people's completion rate because of features that require multiplayer/connection and you can't do it because of dead multiplayer/servers. ![]() Originally posted by AbisZet:Being a game completionist myself, games like these make me want to slap someone in their HQ. However, if you can find a way to spoof a WB server to make this upgrade work again? I'll be your first taker. It's a short-term cash grab that tends to annoy people (see Shadow of War), and leaves games a bit gutted once the servers are discontinued. You still need to build the crews for a couple achievements, but they're just scrap sinks with no benefit at this point, until someone fixes it.įrankly I wish WB would quit putting online-only features in single-player games. I've poked about a couple modding forums and the Nexus but with no luck. Not impossible if you could find a way to make it work off your local clock, but there are no WB servers up for this game anymore, so you can't see whether or not they check for ping authentication. You'd have to simulate a ping to the WB servers with time-last-logged-in vs time-now so the game could calculate how much scrap you got. Long answer: Making a mod like this would be tricky. ![]() I've looked into this and the short answer is "No." ![]()
